On February 24, 2023, the grassroots Trade Union of Ba Ria - Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company held the 8th Congress of Trade Unions, term 2023 - 2028. This is the landmark congress of the Trade Union of construction industry in BR - VT province.

Attending the congress, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Construction Industry Union, there were Mr. Phan Xuan Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Construction Trade Union; Mrs. Bui Thi Kim Nguyen, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Construction Trade Union. On behalf of the leadership side of BR-VT House Development Joint Stock Company, there were Mr. Doan Huu Thuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Viet Lien - General Director, Mr. Doan Huu Ha Vinh - Deputy General Director of the Company; Mr. Do Manh - Secretary of the Party Committee and all union members of the Company.

The General Meeting approved the Report on Summary of Work for the term 2018 - 2023 and operation orientation for the term 2023-2028; Review report of the Executive Board of Trade Union for the term 2018-2023. The congress listened to discussions of trade unions and recommendations and proposals of union members for trade union activities in the coming time.

During the last 5 years, the grassroots Trade Union of Ba Ria - Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company has been continuously recognized as a team that has successfully completed its tasks, and has been awarded Certificates of Merit  by the superior trade union; In 2021,it was warded the Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; many individuals were rewarded by superior trade unions in emulation movements…

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Phan Xuan Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Construction Industry Union highly appreciated the activities and achievements of the Executive Committee in the 2018-2023 term, he also noted a number of tasks and solutions to build the Company's trade union organization in the new term and gave flowers to congratulate the congress.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the term 2023-2028 including 07 comrades and elected 11 delegates to officially attend the 7th Congress of the Construction Industry Trade Union, elected Mr. Phan Van Dinh to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.

The Congress set out the basic targets to focus on in the new term and were voted unanimously by 100% of the delegates. The success of the Congress is the result of the close attention and direction of the Party Committee, the Company's leaders and the Industry Trade Union, the solidarity, consensus and determination of the Executive Committee of the Company's Trade Union and all members of the Company.
